The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission constructed a sewer tunnel from Sunnydale Avenue and Talbert Street to send wastewater eastward to the Sunnydale Transport-Storage structure (located adjacent to the San Francisco Bay near Harney Way and Alana Way). Avila and Associates provided a wide range of services to support this project: construction and tunnel boring machine (TBM) startup services, public outreach schedule support services, evaluation of potential claim issues and recommendations to mitigate claim potential. In addition, we provided on-site environmental compliance inspection and management to assure that the project was constructed in compliance with all project environmental permit requirements.
